Buckfast Abbey Storytelling Festival, 7th & 8th July, 2018.

A free event for all the family with storytellers, puppeteers and performers of all kinds.  With Tillytoo Tales, Malou Evans, Professor Queen Bee, Nicky Rafferty, Bob Hartman, Abi Alao,and the Footprints Theatre.  “The First King of England…in a Dress” by Snail tales Theatre Company, 8th July, 2:30 pm, Schiller Hall.  A fun-packed storytelling show about King Cnut (the founder of Buckfast Abbey.)  More info.: www.buckfast.org.uk/education/storytelling-festival-2018.

Bell Ringing Festival 2018, 10:00 - 5:30 pm, 11th August 2018, Buckfast Abbey.

Demos, handbells, exhibition, trade stalls, BBQ, crafts, family fun.  Free parking. Free entry.  “The Big Ring” (the bells of Holy Trinity, Buckfastleigh and Buckfast Abbey will ring together for the first time) will take place at 1:45 pm.  Live streaming from the Tower.


“Global Healing - How our Faith can help us care for our Common Home”
