Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Weekday Mass.

From Oct 2018 on, a notice will only be placed here when the Mass and/or Adoration will NOT take place at the times or on the days mentioned on the Home page.  On Wednesdays during Lent 2019, from 9:30 to approx.10:30 am there will be Stations of the Cross as well as Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.


“Global Healing - How our Faith can help us care for our Common Home”

This is a film-based event for parishes, groups and individuals. Catholic Lent Courses.

Bodmin: Every Wednesday evening during Lent 7:00 – 8:00 pm in St. Mary’s Church. Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Padstow: Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm during Lent at St. John’s Methodist Hall. Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary.

Churches Together in Tintagel Lent Course - "Come and See"

The Old School Rooms, Tintagel.  Tuesdays, 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

This is a course by David Adam, and seeks to help us open our eyes and hearts, to commit ourselves in love to our living Lord and Saviour, and to the world around us.

12 March - John the Baptist: Behold, the Lamb of God.

19 March - Jesus: Come and see.

26 March - Andrew: Come and see.

2 April - The Samaritan woman at the well.

9 April - I once was blind but now I see.

16 April - The Greeks: We would see Jesus.

23 April - Mary Magdalene: I have seen the Lord.

Optional session after Easter: Thomas: Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

Lent Lunches - Tintagel Churches Together, 12:00 - 1:30 pm

13th March, Methodist Schoolroom; 3rd April, Old Schoolrooms.  Proceeds for The Little Way Association and Christian Aid.

Come and enjoy fellowship over a warming bowl of home-made soup, bread and cheese.  Donations of money, bread and cheese please.


CAFOD Family Fast Day - Friday, 15th March.

You are invited to pray, fast and give with CAFOD this Lent.  Envelopes for your donations will be available on Sunday 17th March.

Vocations Retreat at Buckfast Abbey

22nd March, 4pm to 24th March, after lunch.

A two day retreat with space to pray and reflect on the call of God and what it might mean for you in the beautiful monastic setting of Buckfast Abbey, near Buckfastleigh, Devon.   If you feel the Lord is calling you in some way – as a priest, a brother, or you are not too sure – get in touch with Fr. Hunger Lunch - Save the Children Camelford and District Branch.

Camelford Hall, Clease Road, Camelford;  23rd March, 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.

Children’s Liturgy Helpers - A Day of Support and Formation.

…will take place on Saturday 30th March, 10.30 am – 3:30 pm at the Catholic Church of St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Austell. This will be led by Dr. Caroline Farey who is employed to help provide formation support across the diocese. Please bring some lunch with you. Tea and coffee will be provided.
